About Me
Hi, my name is Nicola Kiver and I am a “raving” fan of Herman Miller furniture. My first taste of his furniture was actually at work (I’m a pathologist – lots of sitting) and I was just plain impressed by the functionality as well as design and sheer comfort of their chairs. I decided to buy myself an aeron chair for my home office; I loved that, but then when the embody chair came out, I couldn’t resist. My husband is now the appreciative owner of the aeron chair. We have expanded our ‘collection’ beyond herman chairs now…
So, why have I made this website? Well, if you are anything like me, you are a fan too, and I think with so many Walmarts and cheap furniture places around, classic, well designed, functional furniture deserves to be promoted. The Miller company’s motto is “To help design and build a better world”. I kind of like that too.
